Building in a Landscape Drawing:
Artist in Residence: Tracey Rice
Learn to render the essential details that move beyond a sketch to capture a moment of the structures in the world around you. Exhibiting pen & ink structural artist Tracey Rice will guide you to better understand your vision, to make what you see your own.
Working with pencils, technical pen & ink and Bristol board, you will realize what needs to be drawn and then accent your vision with essential watercolor highlights.
Students are encouraged to bring images of structures such as barns, bridges, buildings, churches, and the like, to use in class.
Classes will be on Tuesday's and run for four consecutive weeks, from 6pm to 8 pm.
Please bring $35.00 to first class for all supplies needed, including Bristol board pad, 6 technical pens, pencils, white erasers, watercolor brush and watercolor set. Students will take all supplies home. Please contact CWCC at least one week in advance to allow enough material to be purchased.
