Printmaking: Intaglio/Woodblock

Beginners definitely welcome to create prints from your photos or favorite images in plates and woodblock you work yourself. Starting with a blank metal plate, you’ll draw your design and have it etched for a permanent printing plate. Then carve a woodblock for a very different type of printing technique. We’ll “pull” your images from both plate and block and you’ll take home one-of-a-kind original art you created from a totally different kind of blank canvas.

All supplies are included and students will take home the plate, woodblock, and all prints completed during class.

Classes will be on Monday's and run for four consecutive weeks, from 6pm to 8pm.
