Life Figure Drawing:
Artist/Instructor Tracey Rice
Work from live models and anatomical discussions to render the human form. Learn to correctly create proportions, foreshortening, shading, gesture and contour drawing, perspective and other techniques.
This course will use nude figures. Beginners to advanced students are welcome; no experience is necessary. Class sessions will run for four consecutive weeks, from 6pm to 9pm.
Please bring a variety of drawing materials such as graphite, color pencils and sticks, charcoal, oil pastel, pen & ink, and newsprint and white paper drawing pads in a minimum of 24X36 size.
Students without their own supplies will be able to purchase the needed drawing materials in class from the instructor. Please contact CWCC at least one week in advance to allow enough material to be purchased. Pre-registration required.
