The mission of the Central Wisconsin Cultural Center, Inc. to take a leadership role in enhancing the appreciation and ensuring the cultural vitality of the arts in the Central Wisconsin area through art education, art appreciation, and opportunities for artistic expression for all members of our community.
We are located in the heart of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, along the banks of the Wisconsin River. Our 40,000 square foot facility is home to a wide array of exhibits, varying art classes and workshops for children and adults, a pottery studio and private music lessons. Many groups such as Special Arts Choir, the Community Choir, Wisconsin Rapids Community Theater and the Community Band have all used the Cultural Center for rehearsal space and meeting rooms.
The Arts Council of South Wood County leases office space in our facility, enabling us to continue the quality working relationship our two organizations have developed. The Central Wisconsin Cultural publishes the Arts Preview, a quarterly newsletter that lists community area arts events.
